We are looking for a motivated, professional, and energetic individual with experience in a wide variety of wealth planning functions. Director of Wealth Planning Manage the day-to-day operation of the planning department including oversight responsibility for : Retirement Planning Tax Planning Risk Management (Insurance) Planning Estate Planning The Planning team consists of non-licensed, non-practicing attorney's, planning professionals, CPA's and insurance experts. Combine technical expertise with management skill as a hands-on technical supervisor. Prepare and present customer wealth plan solutions to high net worth individuals. Demonstrate and sell wealth plan solutions to existing and potential investment clients and prospects. Capitalize on referral opportunities Recommend planning solutions which are suitable for prospects and clients based on their objectives, resources, time horizon, risk profile and preferences Balance department growth, referral activities, customer follow up, administrative compliance and personal growth and development according to both a day-to-day and longer-term plan Planning and managing resources (time, people, budget) to run a productive department Seek the expertise of team members, where appropriate, to identify planning strategies for a client Establish and maintain relationship with the management team and inform management of any circumstances that require supervisory attention/review/approval as per compliance guidelines and policies Complete mandated training, assessments, performance goals and continuing education requirements Complete semi-annual performance reviews of team members. Complete the requirements and become a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) professional. Market the department's services internally and externally. Qualifications: 6+ years of holistic wealth planning experience Strong technical skills in all aspects of wealth planning Supervisory experience Experience with financial planning software (eMoney, Naviplan or similar) Excellent communicator and team player Superior client service skills Responsibilities: Manage the operation of the wealth planning department Build and maintain client relationships Close new planning opportunities Grow of the wealth planning department Provide excellent customer service Guide and develop team member expertise Support Wealth Advisors in growing their business
