We are seeking a motivated and energetic professional to assume the role of New Business & Project Coordinator. This is a great opportunity for the up-and-comer in financial services. New Business & Project Coordinator Responsibilities Maintain client information in our records database. Accurately complete required paperwork for new client accounts or for additional investments for our existing clients. Draft, review, or edit client correspondence for the Advisors, if needed. Conduct client meetings, face-to-face, to complete the required paperwork (as training progresses). Provide relief for the front desk, when needed, and greet clients by providing exceptional customer service. Direct and manage project development from beginning to end. Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and management in a timely and clear fashion. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants during the project cycle. Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and management. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team members as needed. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations if necessary. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or similar field of study is preferred Experience with Salesforce.com Minimum of five years in a general office environment Computer literacy to easily learn new programs An advanced level of knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Access, Excel, and Outlook A natural acumen for numbers The desire to conduct research The ability to handle multiple tasks and handle stress A genuine interest in the financial services industry Knowledge of project management processes Administrative/Technical Skills Analytical and research skills Attention to details Compile statistics and reports Planning and organizational skills Project and time management skills Written and verbal communication skills Benefits: In exchange for your expertise, we offer a base salary, bonus potential, 401(k) plus matching, health benefits, and a great working environment in a newer professional West Omaha office location.
