CIA Internal Wholesaler The candidates we seek for the Internal Sales desk in our Omaha, NE location will have an in-depth understanding of the independent advisory industry and key competitors in the marketplace. You will develop new business within the territory by conducting consultative, relationship building sales calls with high-end Financial Advisors via the telephone. This will include providing sales and marketing materials as well as follow-up information as requested. We will rely on you to maintain open communication with External Partners to develop and execute sales plan strategies to attain both revenue and profitability goals. You must possess demonstrated territory management skills, ability to organize multiple priorities and have a solid understanding of the financial industry. Responsibilities: Contact all prospects and develop relationship using Go-to-Meeting and phone Identify CIA prospects and establish new relationships with advisors from prospecting opportunities Position and differentiate CIA by educating advisors on CIA's commitment to value added strategic partnership, exceptional service and transparency Market CIA, strategies and services to prospects, referrals, existing relationships and integrating to CIA Identify large Alliance Partner opportunities Provide analysis of prospects current business and identify solutions available through CIA Build relationships with lead Advisors, Associate Wealth Advisors and Operations staff while integrating offices to CIA Become educated in practices of Peak Advisor Alliance and "Tested In the Trenches" Participate as speaker in seminars and training sessions Attend industry events, conferences and other events in which Ron Carson, CIA or Peak Advisor Alliance is speaking Participate in daily morning advisor meetings, training and continuing education requirements Qualifications: Must be able to work out of company headquarters in Omaha, NE 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry required; 3+ years of intermediary sales/wholesaling experience FINRA series 7, 66 and 65 licensed; CFP, CFA or CIMA designated preferred Clean U-4 and U-5 history Bachelor's degree or higher preferred Demonstrated track record of achieving sales objectives Strong organizational skills to manage sales and on-boarding process to CIA Thorough knowledge of industry Ability to work independently Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint Open to travel and weekend work Strong work ethic and personal values, consistent with CWM's Mission, Vision and Client Bill of Rights Compensation: Base salary, plus performance based compensation Highly competitive benefits package [medical, dental, vision, disability] HSA match [if participation in high balance benefits plan] 401K with match
