PAA Client Service Manager

Position Summary: The Client Service Manager is responsible for leading the client service and administrative support departments of Peak Advisor Alliance. This position is responsible for ensuring the on-boarding process for new clients runs smoothly and that ultimately, clients have a phenomenal experience working with our firm. This includes continually reviewing operational process flows impacting client service and making recommendations and tweaks to enhance internal efficiencies and the overall client experience. Ultimately, success in this position is measured by consistently delivering exceptional levels of client satisfaction. As a manager within the organization, this individual will also provide team members with the appropriate training, tools, direction, and motivation that enable their success. Responsibilities/Duties: Manages the Relationship Managers and Administrative Support Specialists (currently five individuals). Keeps client retention top of mind by developing and executing activities and programs specifically designed to improve membership satisfaction and retention. Handles escalated client service requests. Stays educated and well-versed on the content available to our clients. Works with partner web site firm to ensure our financial advisor clients have a smooth experience building their web sites. Provides leadership to team members to ensure they provide exceptional support to clients. Focuses on helping team members improve their skills and knowledge through day-to-day coaching. Helps the departmental team develop goals, action plans, and time tables. Travels approximately two times per year for two nights to attend Peak Advisor Alliance events for clients and prospective clients. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience. Experience working in and a strong interest in the financial services industry. Experience working with financial advisors is a plus. At least three to five years working in a leadership position within a client or customer service area. At least three to five years experience managing a team of people. Excellent listening and feedback skills. An extraordinary client service orientation. Well-developed business acumen. Ability to multi-task and handle numerous assignments simultaneously. Excellent verbal, telephone, and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Advanced computer skills. Knowledge of web site development project life cycle a plus. Good problem solving skills.
