The Business Development Officer will be responsible for the following activities: Manage the wealth advisors and building a business model suitable for expansion Develop new client relationships Source prospective client opportunities by capitalizing on networking and referrals Promote established investment models and strategies that are suitable for our targeted clients Service client needs and requirements as determined through client interaction Promote the firm's wealth enhancement and planning services Adhere to all company and industry supervisory guidelines and policies Participate in daily morning advisor meetings, training, and continuing education requirements Qualifications/Industry Experience: 10 plus years of investment advisory experience Experience with Captive Insurance companies Business development skills Excellent communication skills Bachelor's degree or higher strongly preferred Active Series 7 license Active Series 65 or 66 Life, Health and LTC Licenses Certified Financial Planner (CFP) preferred Clean U-4 and U-5 history Compensation: Base Salary, plus a percentage of advisory fees and insurance revenue Highly competitive benefits package [medical, dental, vision, disability] HSA match [if participate in high balance benefits plan] 401k match Benefits: In exchange for your expertise, we offer a base salary, bonus potential, 401(k) plus matching, health benefits, and a great working environment in a newer professional West Omaha office location.
