Responsibilities:

• Facilitate execution of trades based on models managed by Carson Institutional Advisory as well as single trades from business partners of Carson Wealth Management Group.
• Help ensure best execution through various platforms such as LPL, TD Ameritrade, and Schwab.
• Review drift reports and exception reports of advisory accounts to ensure quality and timely trading is performed.
• Review post execution reports for quality execution of trades.
• Ensure team operates at optimum efficiency with concentration on ongoing process improvement.
• Ensure that implemented internal controls are adhered to and provide proactive recommendations to changes in the internal control infrastructure where required.
• Coach, develop, motivate, and performance manage while driving strong performance metrics.
• Follow the guidelines provided to achieve goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and stakeholders.
• Assist in developing processes and procedures that enhance accuracy and streamline processes.
• Assist in setting and continually meeting project expectations with team members and management.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Depending on overall experience of candidate, may qualify for higher job classification within organization:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or similar field of study is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of trading experience
• Minimum of 2 years of management experience
• Block trading in conjunction with management of model portfolios experience
• Experience with TD Ameritrade, LPL, and Schwab platforms a plus
• Experience using Orion technology a plus
• Experienced users of Microsoft Excel
• A natural acumen for numbers
• The desire to strive for perfection
