CIA Transition Associate

Summary
 
The role of the Transition Associate is to assist the Transition Manager in planning, executing and finalizing Advisor transitions according to strict deadlines and within budget.  This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to achieve successful transitions. Candidate must also be able to help manage multiple projects by being responsible for project’s objectives, quality control and execution throughout the project life cycle.
 
Responsibilities
  • Organize and maintain files and records.
  • Planning and scheduling meetings.
  • Collect data, identify missing items, and process paperwork.
  • Document processes and procedures.
  • Manage projects, conduct research, and follow up to adhere to deadlines.
  • Assist in defining project scope, goals and deliverables that must be completed to coordinate and execute successful Advisor transitions.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and management.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts with offices transitioning to CIA and within the project team.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations if necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in the financial industry required
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or similar field of study preferred
  • Knowledge of Financial Advisor office tools (i.e. Goldmine, Redtail, SalesForce, etc) preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Access, Excel, and Outlook
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks and handle stress
  • A genuine interest in the financial services industry
  • Knowledge of project management processes
