Carson Institutional Alliance, a division of CWM LLC, enables a select community of Financial Advisor Partners, known as Alliance Partners, to leverage the Carson organization’s deep knowledge, innovative investment strategies, scale and operational efficiency to provide their affluent investors with highly transparent investment strategies and focus their time building relationships.

Summary of Position:
Successful Strategy Specialist candidates will have in-depth understanding of financial markets and vehicles with the ability to clearly communicate and articulate financial strategies to advisors.  The Strategy Specialist will be the go-to point of contact for advisors in answering questions regarding Carson Institutional Alliance’s investment strategies, assisting with Alliance Partner and client education, developing daily proactive communications and assisting Alliance Partners with recommendation allocations.

Strategy Specialist will be responsible for communications to Alliance Partners, ensuring that advisors have continual access to the information needed to educate clients and be available to speak directly with an Alliance Partner and their client or prospect.  During the Alliance Partner education and transformation process the Strategy Specialist will support Business Development in modeling and mapping strategies to Carson Institutional Alliance strategies.

Job Duties:
  • Responsible for overall education of Carson Institutional Alliance Strategies
  • Coordinate communications to Alliance Partners on a daily basis through the proprietary Carson Institutional Alliance iPad app
  • Responsible for coordination of daily morning research meetings, ongoing training, and proactive strategy education
  • Support Alliance Partners in client education and allocation recommendations
  • Support Business Development throughout the education and transformation process by:
    • Educating potential Alliance Partners on Carson Institutional Alliance strategies
    • Modeling the asset mapping process
    • Providing comparisons to prospective Alliance Partners
  • Present during Home Office Visits
  • Produce strategy focused and market content for use in newsletters, on-demand communication, social media, blogs and other opportunities
  • Cultivate, maintain and grow relationships with current Alliance Partners.
  • Collaborate with Carson Institutional Alliance team to drive successful sales, on-boarding and post transition success to Partners, specific to utilization of Carson Institutional Alliance strategies.
  • Present at seminars and training sessions.
  • Attend industry events, conferences and other events.
  • Perform all other duties as needed or required to maintain and grow profitable business within the defined region.
Qualifications:                        
  • 3+ years experience as Advisor, Financial Analyst, Internal Wholesaler or equivalent in the financial services industry required.
  • FINRA series 65 licensed preferred. 
  • CIMA, CFA or CFP® designation or candidate preferred.
  • Clean U-4 and U-5 history.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage on demand requests, projects and daily duties
  • Thorough knowledge of industry.
  • Must be able to work independently and in team environment.
  • Proven ability to present to large and small groups effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Must accept demand driven travel and weekend work.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and personal values, consistent with Carson Institutional’s Mission, Vision and Client Bill of Rights.
Location:
  • Open for Candidates located in Omaha
  • Position will travel nationally as needed
