Job Summary:
The Chief Pilot at CMGC, Inc. is responsible for safe, economical, consistent and legal operation of the Company aircraft. They are required to comply with all applicable federal regulations as well as Company policies, standards and procedures.  This is a full-time position with work hours that are dependent upon company’s travel schedule.  This person must currently reside in Omaha or must agree to relocate to Omaha prior to joining the firm.

Job Specifications:
  • Pilot is directly responsible for the safe, legal and consistent operation of the aircraft, in accordance with all federal regulations and Company policies, standards and procedures.
  • Operate, monitor, analyze and appropriately react to all aircraft operational functions such as aircraft performance, internal and external communications, air traffic and climate conditions.
  • Perform flight operations tasks including aircraft takeoff, climb, cruise, descent, approach, landing, taxi-in and parking in accordance with FAA mandated standards.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of assigned aircraft equipment and current operational procedures.
  • Track and schedule maintenance to maintain aircraft in an airworthy condition.
  • Must economically coordinate tasks to permit a number of functions, including but not limited to, fueling, loading, flight planning and filing, passenger handling, and associated duties to transport passengers and cargo in a safe manner in accordance with Company policies and appropriate federal regulations. 
  • Address, as appropriate, passengers on the aircraft and lead all crew activities related to safety.
  • Coordinate with others, both in the cockpit and in other operational departments.
  • Maintain currency requirements with regard to medical, training, and hourly flight requirements.
  • Coordinate all travel logistics for Company employees as well as provide travel itineraries to all involved parties prior to travel.
  • Clean interior/exterior of plane as necessary and keep refreshments stocked for travel
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:
  • Must meet all ATP pilot flight time requirements set forth in FAR 61.159.
  • Multi-Engine Airplane & Instrument ratings.
