Administrative / Marketing Assistant - Whiddon Wealth Management
Overview: The primary purpose of this position is to ensure that all people that come into contact with the firm are treated with warmth and professionalism. The secondary and equally important purpose of this position is to assist the firm’s financial advisers and office manager in marketing and administrative activities that will serve to advance progress toward the firm’s objectives. While reporting directly to the Office Manager, the professional serving in this role will work closely with the principals of the firm as they work to provide investment advisory and financial planning services. The firm is seeking a professional that desires to serve in an environment that values competence, integrity, compassion and humility.

- Greet everyone visiting the office and ensure their comfort, based on needs and circumstances;
- Maintain the neatness and orderliness of personal work space, conference
rooms, kitchen and other areas that are in public view.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all constituencies of the firm, including: clients, prospects, vendors and other outside parties experience professionalism and warmth.
- Greet everyone visiting the office and ensure their comfort, based on needs and circumstances;
- Maintain the neatness and orderliness of personal work space, conference
rooms, kitchen and other areas that are in public view.
- Maintain client information in our records database.
- Draft, review, or edit client correspondence for the Advisors, if needed.
- Prepare paperwork to open and/or maintain client accounts to the specifications requested by the Advisors and Office Manager.
- Conduct and participate in client meetings, face to face, to complete required paperwork.
- Follow the guidelines provided to achieve goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and stakeholders.
- Provide back-up to check deposit function of cashiering for both TD Ameritrade and LPL Financial.
- Assist in all aspects of coordinating client appreciation events and seminar presentations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or similar field of study is preferred;
- Minimum of 2 years employed in a general office environment;
- Proficiency with computer applications, particularly Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and experience with CRM software;
- Computer literacy to easily learn new programs;
- Strong commitment to Client Service.
