Summary

The primary role of this Billing Analyst position is to focus on all billing functions on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.This includes account fee billings, transaction processing, commission processing, and account reconciliations.The Billing Analyst must be able to work well under tight deadlines.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Prepare and submit billing on Advisory Fee Accounts at multiple financial custodian firms
  • Calculate Advisory Fees Payments/Production Reports for Wealth Advisors
  • Audit billing-related account activity to ensure completeness and accuracy of system information
  • Reconcile billings by verifying entries, comparing system reports to balances, researching and resolving any outstanding issues
  • Prepare monthly revenue and receivables related journal entries
  • Assist in enhancing processes, procedures, and reports to monitor activity, ensure accuracy, streamline processes, and enhance efficiencies
  • Perform such other reporting, accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time by the Controller, CFO or other management team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or similar field of study is preferred
  • Minimum of two years in a general office environment
  • Strong skills in Excel are required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience in the financial industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of Orion billing system is preferred
